A Sweet Sister Newborn Session at Beryl Photography


There is something incredibly special about watching a little girl become a big sister for the very first time.

From the gentle forehead kisses to the excitement twirling through the studio, this beautiful newborn session captured the beginning of a lifelong bond between two sisters. This session was photographed in my natural light studio in Winchester, VA and was designed to focus on what matters most — connection, simplicity, and the fleeting beauty of these first newborn days.

As a Winchester VA newborn photographer, some of my favorite sessions are the ones that allow families to slow down and simply soak in this new chapter together. This sweet family wanted a minimal and timeless newborn session that highlighted the sisters’ connection without distracting props or heavy styling — and the final gallery came together so beautifully.

The soft white tones, delicate textures, and simple wraps kept the focus entirely on baby girl and her proud big sister. Some of my favorite moments from the session were the quiet in-between moments: tiny kisses on baby’s forehead, sleepy newborn stretches, and the joyful little spins from a big sister who was so excited to welcome her baby sibling.
